Energy & junior talents are the fuel of everything

Let us start with something you already know. Energy fuels everything, and the world needs are increasing in terms of energy. However, the access to clean, reliable and affordable energy is a challenge which is now a preconditioned priority for raising living standards and improving human well being (plus other consequences). Energy is contributing to -hence affecting- health care, education and job opportunities, among others. We are witnessing a dual challenge today, where we’re living in a period of a rapidly growing energy demand but also increasing concerns for the environment.

How to achieve low carbon energy: a thought !

The call to stop the production of energy from fossil fuels is a smart call from IEA. In our opinion the published roadmap is only there to inform on the urgency of passing to action and scalability of clean energy projects. However, the real steps to take are to enhance the implementation and the use of energy mix. As a proof of that, we noticed many new deals of huge investments to explore new fossil fields (Equinor's deal in Brazil for example). This is to help achieve both climate change and sustainable development goals.

The IEA is continuing to advise and assist countries in their efforts to meet the growing energy demand to achieve energy security, reducing environmental impact, and mitigating climate change. But how can this be done? Check our posts on the page iTtansform Energy Business. We explained in detail the steps that should be undertaken to transform the energy sector, and scale up the use of H2 as it is a great solution to enable the potential of renewable energies. Scalability makes H2 a cost-effective source of energy.

Establishing a successful energy transition plan is a major undertaking. It requires establishing the necessary infrastructure (legal and regulatory framework as a first step), competent institutions, and a skilled workforce. Which takes time, effort and government commitment but also public-private collaboration.

How can SI-GA contribute to this transformation?

Our milestone approach consists in first constituting a board of experienced and committed professionals from consulting firms and think tanks, which enables a development of an action program that can be taken by junior talents and consultants for energy transition and digitalization programs.

This main objective of this initiative is to opening up and creating new growth options for our talents and fresh graduates by providing an innovative approach based on years of international experiences (particularly in energy sectors | or in the outlined SDG goals - we want to be specialized in one big sector ). These programs must be suitable for startups operating in the energy field with different levels of robustness, and must be clarified and easy-to-use for non-experienced talents.

The idea is to provide help to companies but also experience to participants. The action plan will take a duration of 3 months and can be divided into 3 phases: introduction, identification, action. (check the other article for more details). We may offer additional advantages that could be of interest for both parties.

Wide partnership is our way to success

We believe that such a project requires international collaboration and coordination. We would like to develop an international knowledge pool and put it in action first for the Grenoble region, and after its success, we scale up the process step by step.

It’s a fact - It is a fact that the young generation may come up with new and unprecedented solutions and ideas, and without doubt, will play a major role in this transition. We want to unlock that potential together with your expertise and training to contribute to the acceleration towards affordable and reliable energy (electricity, ... ) and develop strategies to avoid large amounts of CO2 emissions in many industries.

Our objective: develop a strategy with an economically easy-to-apply plan to at least reduce by 1/3rd the CO2 emissions, and we're of course ready to do more. We require strong commitment to mobilize new streams of collaboration, volunteering and support. We're open to start programs of partnerships towards this end. Industries of all sizes around Grenoble, please reach out. Volunteers and experienced business managers and consultants, please reach out.

Strategic partnerships are key to scaling up our activities, and outlining innovative solutions.

Take-aways

We live in extraordinary times, not only a challenging global pandemic, but with a need to recover from it in a way that addresses talent development, climate change, and ensures a sustainable future for all. It is clear that we don't just need energy, but clean, reliable and affordable energy. Once again, we don't only need to achieve that, but to drive sustainable change at different levels, starting with junior talents.

We're going to build powerful and skilled human resources... This is our contribution: a future alternative for all industries and companies.

This opportunity is certainly not for everyone ! but for open minded professionals who are eager to share and make a difference, it is an option worth looking at.

Support & join the action... with many thanks :))
